🩺 How to Access Your Patient Portal — A Z Pediatric Care

📱 Step 1: Download the athenaPatient App

For iPhone Users:

  1. Open the App Store on your iPhone.

  2. Tap the Search tab at the bottom.

  3. Type "athenaPatient" and tap Search.

  4. Find the athenaPatient app (developed by athenahealth) and tap Get to download.

For Android Users:

  1. Open the Google Play Store on your Android device.

  2. Tap the Search bar at the top.

  3. Type "athenaPatient" and tap the Search icon.

  4. Find the athenaPatient app (developed by athenahealth) and tap Install.

Note: The app is free and only available to patients of practices on the athenahealth network.

🚀 Step 2: Create Your Account

  1. Make sure A Z Pediatric Care has your email address on file. Call us if you're unsure.

  2. Check your inbox for a Patient Portal invitation email from athenahealth.

  3. Click "Create My Account" in the email.

  4. Enter your name, date of birth, sex, email address, and phone number.

  5. Create a secure password and click Save and Continue.

  6. Review and accept the Terms and Conditions.

Didn't receive an invitation email? Visit our portal link above, click the "Sign up" link below the login button, and follow the prompts — or call our office and we'll send you a new invitation.

🔐 Step 3: Set Up Two-Factor Authentication

  1. A security prompt will appear — click "Continue".

  2. Choose your preferred verification method:

    • 📱 Text message (recommended)

    • 📞 Phone call

    • ❓ Security question

  3. Click "Set Up" next to your preferred option.

  4. Enter the verification code sent to you.

  5. Optionally, enable Face ID or Touch ID for faster login next time.

🎉 You're all set! You now have access to your A Z Pediatric Care patient portal, where you can:

  • View health records, visit summaries, and lab results

  • Message your care team

  • View and manage appointments

  • Pay your bills online
